- Do they have internet in the smaller communities?
Yes. Most of the locations from which we operate have internet access.
- What do people do for fun?
Outdoor recreation is big in the West. Much of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan is forested so there is plenty of camping, atv'ing, fishing and hunting. In our more southern locations, it's mostly prairie with lakes in the area. - What's it like to live in camp?
It's a neat experience.
The food is tasty, the guys are fun and the recreation will keep you busy. Our camp in Fort McMurray, the Eveready Village, is a dry camp with zero tolerance. So you can expect to able to relax after the day's work, get well fed and a good night's sleep. The recreation area is complete with a big screen TV, a foosball table, and a pool table.
- What's it like to live in western Canada?
Fun. We're easy going and like to work hard and play even harder. The wild west is the frontier for the Oil and Gas industry. In Alberta you only pay the GST and prices for houses and consumer goods are quite competitive. - Where are most of the employees from?
Our employees come from all over Canada and we welcome them to our easy going, team oriented environment.
